What can I play for free?

The app is free to download. Play three puzzles in every country for free: one landmark, one food, and one street puzzle. Try every country, then buy all puzzles if you would like to keep playing.

Ranking Mode is available after you unlock all puzzles.

How do I buy all puzzles?

A single in-app purchase unlocks every puzzle in every country and Ranking Mode. All puzzles added in the future are included. After unlocking all puzzles, finish every puzzle in a country to open its image stories.

Tap Using for free · Buy All at the top right of the home screen to open the purchase screen. It also appears after you finish the free puzzles. You can also open it by tapping Buy on the home screen's Ranking Mode card, which shows a padlock. Check the price on the purchase screen, then tap Buy.

This is the only in-app purchase. No further payments are needed after you unlock all puzzles. Once your purchase is complete, the home screen shows All Puzzles Unlocked.

Payments are handled by the stores. The developer does not receive your card details.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you bought all puzzles through the app and then reinstalled it or switched devices, use Restore Purchases to unlock them without paying again. Sign in with the same account in the store where you made the purchase.

Tap Using for free · Buy All at the top right of the home screen, then tap Already purchased? Restore Purchases at the bottom left of the purchase screen.

If your purchase is not restored, check that you are signed in with the store account you used to buy it and that you are connected to the internet, then try again. If it still does not work, email onweald.project@gmail.com. If you bought the app when it was a paid download, see the guidance below.

If you bought the app before it became free to download, everything unlocks automatically without any action from you. You do not need to buy it again.

Android: If you uninstalled and reinstalled the app, it may not recognize your earlier purchase. If puzzles are locked, email onweald.project@gmail.com with your order number beginning with GPA. Once we verify the purchase, we will send you a promo code to unlock all puzzles.

iPhone: If everything does not unlock automatically, email onweald.project@gmail.com. We will look into your purchase and help.

My photos won't download

You need an internet connection to download photos. Check your Wi-Fi or cellular connection and the available storage on your device. Then select a country in Countries and tap Download & Start or Download Again. Once the download finishes, tap Start.

If the download keeps failing, try a different network. In Country Challenge, you can play the puzzles available to you in downloaded countries offline. If you still need help, send us the country name and the error message shown on screen.

I'm running out of storage

Photos are downloaded by country and stored in the app's own storage. Check the download size shown before you start, and make sure your device has enough free space to download and save the files.

To remove downloaded photos, go to Settings → Delete All Downloaded Images → Delete. Your completed puzzles, challenge results, nickname, and sound settings will stay. You can download the photos again later.

Clear this device's records is a separate option. To keep your records, choose Delete All Downloaded Images.

When do my hints refill?

Country Challenge: You start with 3 hints per country. When you have 2 or fewer, you regain 1 hint every 2 hours, up to 3. Time spent with the app closed counts when you open it again. The game screen shows how long until your next hint.

You earn 1 hint for finishing a puzzle without a wrong answer, plus 1 hint for every 5 puzzles you finish. If both apply, you earn 2 hints. No bonus is awarded when you finish the last puzzle in a country. Hints earned as rewards can take your total above 3, and you keep those extra hints. Using hints does not reduce your star rating. Each wrong answer costs half a star.

Ranking Mode: You start with 3 hints and earn 1 more for every 5 puzzles you finish. Hints do not refill over time. You can still use hints after you run out, but each extra hint costs 10 points.

How do I change my leaderboard nickname?

Ranking Mode is available after you unlock all puzzles. Connect to the internet, then tap Edit next to your rank at the top of the leaderboard. Enter a new nickname of 1–14 characters and tap Save. A nickname is assigned automatically when you agree to participate in the leaderboard. You can change it after that. Names already in use and names containing prohibited words are not allowed. If a message appears, try a different name.

Your nickname is public on the leaderboard. Avoid using your real name or contact details. Your leaderboard flag is based on the country of your store account. There is no option to change it in the app.

How do I delete my ranking account?

Delete your account in the app
Connect to the internet and go to Settings → Withdraw Ranking Consent & Delete Account → Withdraw & Delete. Select Withdraw & Delete again to confirm. If you have never joined the leaderboard and do not have an account, the Withdraw & Delete button is disabled.

This withdraws your consent to participate in the leaderboard and deletes your anonymous account, nickname, and leaderboard records for every month stored on the server. It also deletes your ranking high score, recent ranking history, and saved ranking sign-in information on this device. Deletion cannot be undone. Your completed puzzles and results in Country Challenge, along with your downloaded photos, will stay.

A new account is not created automatically after deletion. To join again, make sure all puzzles are unlocked, then tap Ranking Mode on the home screen and agree to participate again. Using Clear this device's records or uninstalling the app does not delete your leaderboard records from the server.

Request deletion by email without the app
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot delete your account in the app, email onweald.project@gmail.com. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request.

Use Ranking account deletion request as the subject. Include your leaderboard nickname and the approximate month and year you last played Ranking Mode. Include your score too, if you know it.

Ranking accounts are anonymous, so we cannot find your account by your name or email address. We look it up by nickname. If several accounts have the same nickname and we cannot tell which is yours, we may ask for more information.

Once we identify your account, we will delete your anonymous account, nickname, and leaderboard records for every month stored on the server, then email you to confirm. Deletion cannot be undone. We use your email address only to handle your deletion request and reply to you.

Will I keep my records if I reinstall the app or switch devices?

Restoring your purchase to unlock all puzzles is separate from restoring your play records. All puzzles must be unlocked to use Ranking Mode.

Starting with version 1.3.0, the app saves ranking sign-in information on your device so you can keep using the same ranking account. This information does not contain your name or contact details. Whether you can keep your nickname and leaderboard records after reinstalling or switching devices depends on the following:

Deleting your ranking account in the app also removes the saved sign-in information from your device. If you then reinstall and agree to participate in the leaderboard again, you will start with a new account.

We recommend keeping the app and its records on your old device until you have finished moving to your new one.

Can I play Ranking Mode offline?

Ranking Mode is available after you unlock all puzzles, and you need an internet connection to start it. This applies even if you have already downloaded puzzles. Each run randomly selects 10 puzzles from all available puzzles and downloads any you do not have before play begins. In Country Challenge, you can play the puzzles available to you in downloaded countries offline.

You also need an internet connection to view the monthly leaderboard and submit scores. If the results screen says “Couldn't submit to the leaderboard.”, check your connection and tap Retry on that screen. If you close the results screen, that score stays only on your device. It will not be submitted automatically later.

Why can't I hear any sound?

iPhone: Silent mode mutes all game audio, including background music. Turn off silent mode and turn up your device's volume.

Android: The game uses your device's media volume, even in silent or vibrate mode. Check that your media volume is turned up.

In Settings, make sure Sound Effects and Background Music are both on and that neither volume is set to zero. Also check whether audio is playing through Bluetooth headphones or another connected device.

How do I change the language?

The app starts in your device's language. If that language is not supported, it starts in English. Go to Settings → Language to choose Korean, English, Japanese, Spanish, or German. Country and city names, photo descriptions, and hints also appear in your chosen language.

How do I request a refund?

To request a refund for the in-app purchase that unlocks all puzzles, use the same Apple or Google Play process below.

iPhone (App Store): Request your refund through Apple. Sign in to Apple's Report a Problem page with the Apple Account you used for the purchase. Choose “Request a refund” and select the app or in-app purchase. Apple determines refund eligibility.

See Apple's refund instructions for the full steps.

Android (Google Play): Request your refund through Google Play. See Google Play's refund instructions. Refund eligibility is subject to Google's policies.

If Google directs you to contact the developer, email onweald.project@gmail.com with your order number beginning with GPA.

Payments are handled by the stores. The developer does not receive your card details or other payment information.
